During the Functional Design phase, we translate the business needs and defined personas to matching Skype for Business profiles. We discuss the non-working scenarios and convert them to working scenarios. Once the organization’s business needs have been identified, our consultants translate these into functional requirements and collaboration scenarios. The collaboration scenarios describe exactly how users perform a certain task or activity. They are the proof points of that the functional design has to comply with to meet the organization’s business needs. Based on the earlier defined communication personas and call flows matching Skype for Business or Teams profiles are designed. The customer receives a Functional Design document.
The Functional Design is evaluated with the customer to ensure that the described functionality complies with the customer’s requirements. Once it has been signed off by the customer’s project manager the Functional Design document acts as the blueprint for the Technical Design.
Skype for Business and Teams have very specific network requirements to provide end-users with an optimal experience. It is therefore necessary to assess the readiness of the network to ensure it is qualified to meet the user’s expectations. Communicativ offers various network assessment options, including advanced network measurements. This way organizations are sure that they meet the critical jitter, packet loss and latency requirements.
