Microsoft released on 30 August a windows 10 update, that allows to run the Microsoft Teams app on the Surface Hub. After extensive testing and fine-tuning the last 6 months where Communicativ participated heavily in, Microsoft released this app to the General Public and now seamlessly supports Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Skype for Business one-click-join meetings and videoconferencing.
We are very proud that we could support in developing and delivering this capability, where Microsoft ensuring the continuity of support for Surface Hub v1. This new update also secures the ROI of our customers that have invested in to Surface Hub v1 from the beginning, and ensures their roadmap to Microsoft Teams will be supported by Surface Hub and the continues support of Microsoft for the products.
With the support of Microsoft Intune, the app can be deployed to all your Surface Hubs and your preferred meeting mode can be set. Meeting modes are Skype for Business only, Teams Only or both Skype for Business as Teams.
