A deep technical level
During the Technical Design phase, we translate the Functional Design and Business Needs to a technical architecture model. This model includes a high-level cloud, on-premise or hybrid topology, network requirements, overview of the required certificates, firewall requirements, equipment notes, SIP/ISDN & gateways configuration, etc. The Functional Design document provides a high-level description of how the new Skype for Business or Teams environment should work from a users perspective. In the Technical Design document our consultants explain how the system is constructed at a deep technical level. Designing a Skype for Business or Teams system requires specialist knowledge that is not available within the IT teams of most organizations. This does not only concern in-depth knowledge of Skype for Business or Teams but also the associated products of third party vendors. In addition to this the design team should also have profound knowledge about networks and specifically regarding live streaming of data.
Our consultants solely focus on Skype for Business, Teams and Exchange. They possess the knowledge and skills to provide a Technical Design that matches your functional needs and technical requirements.
The Technical Design document provides a specification of the used fundamental architectural model (cloud, on-premises or hybrid topology). It also contains a detailed description of the network requirements, the necessary certificates, firewall requirements, equipment notes and configuration notes for SIP/ISDN gateways.
The concept Technical Design is evaluated with the customer in a design workshop. Once it has been confirmed that the Technical Design fully supports the Functional Design and matches the customer’s infrastructural requirements it is signed off by the customer.
